- To adjust between the distance and short, turn your head slowly to the objects. Do not squint at the objects otherwise, you will feel dizzy.
- If you focus on seeing far while driving, adjust your frame a bit farther from your eyes until you can see the far distance.
- If you want to view something, avoid looking out of the corner of your eye as it causes distortion and dizziness. Instead, focus on moving your whole face.
- Do not turn up your face immediately while looking at a long distance. You might see an unclear picture, and feel dizzy or nauseated.
- If you need to look at the lower portion to see your feet, move your eye closer to your knee and slowly focus on your feet. Otherwise, you will feel dizzy.
- If this is your first progressive glasses, Do not remove the glasses often. Your eye and brain have to learn to adjust your picture and your movement in daily life until it becomes more natural.
- During the learning to wear progressive lens period. If you are walking upstairs, do not look at your feet, you may feel off-balance or dizzy. Keep the focus in front of you instead of looking at your feet.
- For myopic case(nearsightedness), only one progressive lens may not be appropriate for driving at night. You might need another single-lens glasses for driving long distances at night.
- For short-range distances such as working on the computer, you may try to adjust your frame closer to the eyes. In this case, you can glance easier on short-range, and no need to move your face up upward.
- While wearing progressive glasses, If you cannot see the objects clearly, do not force your eye to stare at them. It might cause pain in the eye socket. Try to find a new focus by slowly moving your head until the object becomes clear.
- When looking between paperwork, a phone, or, a computer screen, you need to keep the objects still and only move your head up or down.
