They consider aspects such as the visual field, dimensions of visual perception, and ergonomic factors due to the increased screen time.

The Zeiss SmartLife lenses also adapt the lens structure to accommodate the wearer's age. As age increases, the pupils dilate less and slower, impacting the quality of vision through the lenses.

Zeiss Luminance Design 2.0 technology takes into account age-related data to calculate and design personalized lens surface structures. The SmartLife Progressive Lens is designed to emphasize the clarity area of the intermediate zone, combined with modern lens grinding technology to provide wide-angle lenses, high clarity, and smooth transitions between near and far vision.

These digital lenses are designed for everyone with a lifestyle that requires constant connectivity and movement, often experiencing eye fatigue, discomfort, or near vision strain. These lenses feature newly designed fingerprints for smoother transitions into lens peripheries, reducing peripheral distortion.

               Large distance zone : Wide viewing distance zone, free from distortion and deformation. The image remains clear during all movements. 

              Compressed corridor : Designed to reduce the narrowness of the peripheral view for convenience in all directions. 

  Comfortable near zone : A comfortable near zone, adjusted according to the individual's different widths or distances of peripheral vision. Zeiss allows the selection of additional power or near vision power ranging from 0.50 to 1.25 for improved reading comfort.
